No doubt, that painkillers are a huge help but like all drugs, they come with side-effects such as rashes, nausea, upset stomach and prolonged use of painkillers can cause liver damage, kidney problems, cardiovascular problems, and stomach ulcers. 1. Ice Packs
You probably seen athletes use ice page whenever they come across any muscular pain or injury this is because ice packs are one of the best natural painkillers. Ice packs can be bought at the market however, you can make ice packs at home all you need is a plastic bag and ice.
- Put ice cubes in a plastic bag.
- Wrap it with a towel.

2. Hot packs
Just like ice packs, hot packs are also effective and quick natural painkiller. It can be used to treat both acute and chronic pain by applying heat directly to the painful areas. For making hot packs at home all you need to do is.
- Soak a cotton cloth in hot water for 1 minute.
- Take the cotton cloth out and wring out the excess water.
- Apply the heated cloth of affected area for 15 to 20 minutes.

- Mix 2-3 tsp of olive oil and coconut oil with ½ tsp of cayenne pepper powder.
